Your discount is created and now you want to apply it to a customers purchase;
Go to customer's contract. In the right corner click on "actions" and then "apply discount".
Choose "immediately" or "on a custom date"
Select your discount
Validate
Scroll down on the contract page to contract history if you want to double check that your discount was applied
